Just Those Four Things is a short film produced by Kristopher Campa and directed by Sean Hills. Savanna Smith served as the line producer. It was produced through the graduate program at Columbia College Chicago, and was partially sponsored by the Interstitial Cystitis Association.
LOGLINE: A laid-back millennial feels anything but relaxed after an unexpected diagnosis keeps her away from the four things she loves the most: alcohol, caffeine, jeans, and sex.
SYNOPSIS: Kelly is settling into her mid-twenties- hanging out with friends, editing fantasy romance novels for work, and spending quality time with her boyfriend. This comfortable life falls apart completely when Kelly is diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis and Vulvodynia, two conditions affecting her bladder and vulvar region that require her to give up caffeine, alcohol, jeans, and sex. Kelly can’t survive without those four things. Caffeine is her lifeblood. Beer is her favorite beverage. Jeans are pretty much the only thing she wears. Sex is…. well, sex.
